Dr. B. Srinivasan is a distinguished academician and prolific researcher with over 27 years of teaching and 18 years of research experience in Computer Science. He holds his M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, and has successfully guided 40 M.Phil. scholars, making a significant contribution to the academic community. Since February 2022, he has been serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, School of Arts and Science, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University).

His research expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, IoT, and Cloud Computing. He has authored books on advanced computing and published widely in reputed national and international journals and conferences. His current focus is on IoT-powered ecosystems and next-generation mobile applications, developing agile and scalable solutions in healthcare, smart living, and cloud-connected technologies. He has also successfully completed a seed money project under the Cloud Computing domain at Vinayaka Mission’s University, which addressed data breach prevention.

As an innovation leader, Dr. Srinivasan has transformed ideas into impactful outcomes through IoT-driven prototypes, smart automation solutions, and mobile-first frameworks that bridge connectivity, intelligence, and human-centric design. He has delivered over 120 seminars, workshops, and guest lectures on frontier technologies across academia and industry. In addition, he has served as a mentor and catalyst through his leadership in the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and Institution Innovation Council (IIC), inspiring students to move from “ideation to action.”
