Dr. Minhaz Ali is a dedicated teacher and researcher in Hindi literature with a strong academic foundation and diverse teaching and research experience. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Hindi (Hons.) from Madhya Kamrup College, University of Gauhati, and completed his Master’s degree in Hindi from Pondicherry University, a Central University. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Hindi from Pondicherry University for his research on the representation of society and culture in the novels of Indira Goswami. During his doctoral studies, he was a recipient of the Maulana Azad National Fellowship awarded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for 2017–2018.
Before joining the School of Arts and Science, VMCC, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation in August 2025 as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Ali gained teaching experience at Madhya Kamrup College, Assam, where he served for over a year. In addition to his academic role, he currently contributes as a Content Writer at Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University, Guwahati, Assam, developing academic resources for higher education.
Dr. Ali has published research papers and articles in UGC CARE-listed journals, international peer-reviewed journals, and edited book volumes. He has actively presented his research at several national and international seminars and conferences, engaging in meaningful academic discourse and contributing to the field of Hindi studies.
His teaching and research interests focus on modern Hindi literature, cultural studies, and literary criticism. As a young academic, Dr. Ali continues to combine his passion for teaching with scholarly pursuits, inspiring students to explore the richness of Hindi language and literature.
