The Department of Computer Science at AVSAS – School of Arts and Science is dedicated to nurturing future-ready professionals equipped with strong technical skills, ethical values, and an innovative mindset. Offering programs such as B.Sc. Computer Science, BCA, BSc. Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) and MSc. CS, the department is structured under NEP 2020, LOCF, and the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) to promote holistic, flexible, and multidisciplinary learning.
Curriculum and Core Subjects
The curriculum integrates core computing subjects—C, Python, Java, Data Structures, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Machine Learning, AI Tools, Cloud Computing, IoT, and more—ensuring that students gain both foundational knowledge and advanced technological skills. Practical learning is emphasized through hands-on labs, mini-projects, industry internships, and MOOC integration (SWAYAM / NPTEL).
