Institutional Social Responsibility
Driving positive change through education, leadership, and community engagement at SAS VMRF-DU
ISR Cell is one of the mainstays of School of Arts and Science (SAS). We as an institution believe that our role involves something more than simply imparting knowledge and skills to the students. As an active agent of social change, SAS takes on voluntary actions in the creation of a culture of social responsibility in society through a myriad of activities that address both own competitive interests & the welfare of the society.

The SAS Students Council is functioning with the regulations given in "The Student Council guidelines 2022" of Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundations (Deemed to be University), Salem, and has the following objectives.
Mediation Role
Act as a liaison between management, staff, and students to facilitate effective communication and understanding.

Promote holistic growth through social, cultural, and educational initiatives that benefit both students and institution.
Community Building
Foster friendship and well-being among students to create a harmonious campus environment.
Student Representation
Voice student perspectives on matters of general concern to the appropriate authorities.

Assist in developing diverse student programs encompassing cultural, sports, social and educational activities.
