Mr. R. Lenin is an academician with over sixteen years of teaching experience, including more than four years as Head of the Department of Commerce and Management. Since November 2022, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Arts and Science, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), Chennai Campus. A UGC-NET qualified scholar in both Commerce and Management, he holds M.Com., MBA (Finance & Marketing), and PGDCM degrees and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Commerce at the University of Madras. His academic and professional journey reflects his strong commitment to teaching, research, student mentoring, and academic leadership.
His scholarly contributions include research publications in reputed journals, including UGC-CARE listed and peer-reviewed journals, as well as paper presentations at national and international conferences on topics such as consumer behavior, digital advertising, social media, and women empowerment. He has actively enhanced his academic profile through participation in twelve Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) covering Research Methodology, Pedagogy, Intellectual Property Rights, Data Analysis, and Counseling, in addition to three workshops and more than ten webinars on areas such as IPR, Financial Planning, Research Quality, and Entrepreneurship.
Beyond academics, Mr. Lenin has served in various leadership and resource roles. He has been a judge for business plan competitions, a coordinator for extracurricular activities, and an organizer of student workshops and guest lectures.
As NSS Coordinator, he has successfully conducted and completed several community service events and extension activities, reflecting his commitment to social responsibility and holistic student development.
Through his teaching, research, leadership, and community engagement, Mr. Lenin continues to contribute significantly to the institution’s growth and to the academic and professional success of his students.
