Dr. S. Ramalingam is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce, School of Arts and Science, Vinayaka Mission’s Chennai Campus, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), Paiyanoor, Chennai.

He holds a M.Com from Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur (Thiruvalluvar University), MBA from Periyar University, Salem, and M.Phil from Islamiah College, Vaniyambadi (Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore). He was awarded his Ph.D. from Government Arts College, Dharmapuri (Periyar University, Salem), with specialization in Savings and Investment Preferences of Domestic Investors. With over 19 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Dr. Ramalingam has made significant contributions to academia and research. He has published numerous research papers in reputed national and international journals, including Scopus, Web of Science, ABC-listed, and other peer-reviewed publications.

His primary research interests lie in the fields of Finance, Marketing, and Human Resource Management, where he continues to actively guide and inspire students and scholars. He is a Lifetime Member of the Indian Commerce Association (ICA) and the Education Research and Development Association (ERDA).
