Fellowships/ scholarships
- Full Time Scholars will be given a stipend of Rs. 25,000
- NET/SET cleared candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 30,000
Procedure
Applicants must take a written test and appear for a personal interview (NET/SET cleared candidates are exempted from the written tests)

The area of research shall be determined by the specialization chosen by the scholar. Areas may include American Literature, British Literature, Canadian Literature, Comparative Literature, Science Fiction, Literary theory and criticism, medical humanities, and Cultural studies.
