The Department offers the students to explore fundamentals of Physics in Classical mechanics, Thermal and Statistical Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Solid State Physics, Quantum Physics, Nuclear and Particle Physics, Atomic and Molecular Physics Electronics, Embedded systems with experimental laboratory. Students are offered Skill Enhancement courses for additional interdisciplinary subject knowledge. Nano Centre at AVIT campus is equipped with advanced synthesis methods and spectroscopic techniques which includes FT-IR spectrometer, UV spectrometer and Atomic Force Microscopy for supporting frontline research in basic and advanced technological areas.
