Dr. Christianna Singh has a rich and diverse experience in teaching and administration spanning over 37 years.
She holds a doctoral degree in Economics, specializing in Gender Economics from Madurai Kamaraj University.
Complementing her expertise, she also possesses a postgraduate diploma in Computer Applications.
She is an ardent advocate for the effective incorporation of technology into higher education to
enhance teaching and learning methodologies.
Dr. Christianna Singh’s extensive travels have afforded her opportunities to both learn and share her
expertise at national and international levels. She served as the United Board Scholar at the Asian Institute
of Liturgy and Music in Manila. Additionally, she completed a course in Intercultural Women’s Studies at
St. Scholastica’s College in the Philippines, supported by an international grant.
She was selected as a United Board Fellow for leadership training at Harvard Graduate School
of Education (USA) and Singapore Management University.
Dr. Singh’s unwavering commitment lies in providing holistic education
to the youth, moulding them into globally competent nation builders. She emphasises intellectual growth
supported by value-based education, social responsibility, and recognition of the divine within everyone.
Dr. Singh firmly believes that educators should adopt novel and
futuristic methods to teach today’s students, rather than relying on outdated approaches.
This requires teachers to be lifelong learners themselves. Whether contributing to personal, institutional, or
community development, Dr. Singh advocates for sustainable practices and remains committed to faculty development and succession planning.
